ABSTRACT Background: Dengue fever, caused by the dengue virus transmitted through the bite of infected Aedes mosquitoes, is a significant global health concern, particularly in tropical and subtropical regions Antibiotics may be used effectively to treat dengue fever in individuals with comorbidities such as bacterial infections or other illnesses that necessitate antibiotic treatment. It is critical to distinguish between the viral basis of dengue and any associated bacterial infections or comorbidities that necessitate antibiotic therapy.
