ABSTRACT Growing numbers of people are seeing organic farming as a good substitute for traditional techniques. Currently, just 1.5 percent of agricultural land worldwide is organic.Significant variance between emerging and developed economies can be observed on socio-economic, behavioral, and cultural factors. Researchers have focused a lot of emphasis on the unrealized potential for sustainable consumption in developing countries because of these discrepancies. India is one of the major producers and exporters of organic products in emerging markets; however the country's organic business is still in its infancy. However, there is a lot of room for growth in the organic product market given India's sizable customer base. Currently, India's urban areas-which have been the main subject of this field's research-have a disproportionate amount of organic demand.The practice of organic agriculture has drawn a lot of interest as a potential remedy for India's problems with food security
