A Case Report on Management of Tinea Faciei with Pulsatilla - An Evidence based Homoeopathy

ABSTRACT

Tinea infection is also known as Dermatophytosis or ringworm, it is fungal infection of skin. These are classified according to the site affected. Tinea faciei is a superficial fungal infection of face. Here a 15years old girl reported with complaints of circular eruption on left side of face with severe itching since one month. This case demonstrates the utility of Pulsatilla as not only the indicated remedy for Tinea faciei but also how it worked in menstrual problems of the patient, hence helped in treatment based on Individualisation. Advice for appropriate hygienic measures was given. The improvement is followed-up and recorded with before and after photographs of the face of patient.
