A comparative study of Life satisfaction on different academic achievers

Life satisfaction can be described as cognitive assessment of one’s quality of life that is based on how people
believe their life should be in relation to how it is in reality. The purpose of this present study is to compare the
level of student’s life satisfaction among different academic achiever of senior secondary students. Researcher
hypothesized that There would be significant difference among different academic achiever on life satisfaction.
Sample of the study consist of 150 students (high achiever = 50, average achiever = 50 and low achiever = 50).
Students’ life satisfaction scale (Huebner, 1991 was used. The data were analyzed by using one way ANOVA
technique. The results of research showed that there is a significant difference in life satisfaction among
different academic achiever of senior secondary students.
