A Comprehensive Review on Smart Ventilator and Health Monitoring System

ABSTRACT
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we created, tested, and prototyped an emergency ventilator. Rapid design revisions, functional testing, and animal testing were made possible by additive manufacturing in strong end-use materials. When the EV malfunctions or a patient's breathing stops, an electronic monitoring system notifies the user and sounds an alarm. More than 70 organisations in 15 countries have obtained the product design, user manual, and training materials through a free licence, and the electronic monitoring system is accessible through an open-source licence. [1]. Ventilators have grown to be a crucial component of medical care, particularly with the current worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. An Ambu Bag with a bag valve mask is the most common (BVM). The low air volume inside the bag of this ventilator, however, necessitates the use of a manual resuscitator to perform its job. Additionally, it makes a loud noise while operating because of its mechanism. Utilizing a Non Ambu Bag ventilator is an alternative. This optional ventilator has variable quantity, rate, and volume and flow settings that can be controlled via the user's smartphone. [2]
