A meta-analysis on the impact of Case Study Method of Teaching on the Learning Outcome of Students

ABSTRACT
This study is to find out the effectiveness of the Case study method of teaching on the learning outcome of the students based on Bloom's Taxonomy. Questionnaires were used to collect data from students on their experience with the use of the Case Study method.The casestudy teaching method has a higher rate in both empirical and perceived effectiveness of the learning outcome based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. The study conducted measures the effectiveness and its intersectionality between education and business (Business Studies)and has been widely used in higher education institutions especially the management studies to facilitate effective learning across a variety of subjects like Marketing, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Financial Management, and Business Management, etc. The study has found that the Case Method is useful for most of the subjects in Management, especially Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance, and Business Ethics. It is also observed that the Case Method helps in remembering the knowledge created through their actions and behaviour.
