A Review: Biological Activity of Some Medicinal Plants of Family Rhamnaceae

ABSTRACT

The phytochemical analysis of  various medicinal plants/shrub/herb of the Rhamnaceae family showed the presence of the important medicinal value for various disease like antibacterial activity, anti-diarrheal, anti-secretory,  antidiabetic, antioxidant, antimicrobial, antiparasitic, dermatological, anti-spasmodic, anti-ulcer, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-cancer, CNS depressant etc. The current review will discuss the traditional uses, chemical constituents and medicinal use of some important plants/shrub/herb of Rhamnaceae family.
