A Review of Literature on Manasa-Roga (Behavioral Disorders) In Ayurveda

ABSTRACT According to Ayurveda, Mana is a psychological component of a living being. In ancient Indian society, the concept of Mana was the subject of numerous disputes and disagreements. While the Disturbed Manas Doshas are crucial in the pathophysiology of mental illnesses, the Balanced Manas Doshas control emotion. The current article is a review that analyzes the children's books Mana and Manas Roga. Mansa Roga's history can be viewed from the very beginning. Ayurvedic psychology is also known as Manas Rog Vigyan, Bhoot Vidhya, or Graha Vidhya. It is a disciplined science. The primary goal of this essay is to provide a historical analysis of Manas Rog Vigyan's evolution. The study of history facilitates the advancement and study of all sciences and their methodologies. Life is a synthesis of the body, senses, mind, and soul. Sense is an aspect of the body. Body, mind, and soul are the three pillars of life. However, since the soul is a fictitious aspect of life, only the body and intellect are the origin of sickness. There are two main divisions in health science based on the location of diseases. The first is connected to a bodily illness, and the second to a psychological illness.
