ABSTRACT

Now days Usage of herbal medicines has increased many folds an account of side effects seen with conventional drugs. Facial Skin is graceful and the ordinary soaps make it to lose texture and make it dry. Facewash is a light cleanser acts without producing any harshness to skin. The purpose of facewash indicates the cleansing, antiwrinkle, anti- acne, moisturizing and enhance the fairness of skin and thus skin look young and energetic.The present study is compilations of extraction processes such as Maceration, Infusion, Digestion, Decoction, Percolation, Hot extraction method(soxhelet), Aqueous Alcoholic extraction by fermentation, Counter-current extraction ,Ultrasound extraction (sonication), Supercritical fluid extraction methodand different plants use for herbal face wash and various phytochemical test for herbal face wash.
