ABSTRACT

Carbon-carbon composites are the special kind of composite which are widely usedin aero industry due to their advanced properties. C/C composites are composed of carbon fiber embedded in a carbonaceous matrix.This was mainly developed for the reentry vehicles applications and it have been a standard components for the break system of the racing car. Still the composition not reached the level of expectations due to its poor oxidation resistance. In thisreview where it includes the recent studies details about the oxidation inhibitors coatings on carbon-carbon composite.
