ABSTRACT

In this paper we have done an overview of so many plagiarism detection tools that have been used for natural language, text plagiarism detection external plagiarism detection, and some tools used in code source plagiarism detection.Plagiarism has become a progressively serious problem in the academic Environment. It is aggravated by the easy access to and the ease of copy and paste from a wide range of materials available on the Internet. It constitutes academic thief the offender has 'taken' the work of others and published the taken work as it is his or her own. It goes to the nobility and honesty of a person. It stifles creativity and originality, and defeats the purpose of education.To detect plagiarism of any form, it is essential to have broad knowledge of its possible forms and classes, and existence of various tools and systems for its detection.
