A Review on “Thevetia Peruviana”: A Magic Plant

ABSTRACT

Therapeutics which is obtained from plant plays a very important role in the public health care system.this plant belongs to the family apocynaceae and contains many tannins ,saponins,terpenoids, glycosides which are present in different organ of the plant that is in the leaves,flowers,stem ,root etc.some of the constituents are toxic. This review covers the all pharmacological action , chemical constituents and commercial uses related tothis plant.
