A Review Paper on Design and Analysis of Wishbone Suspension System

ABSTRACT
The purpose of the suspension system is to provide stability to the vehicle, which ultimately improves ride comfort. Provides traction control and steering stability. Double wishbone suspensions are commonly used on light, heavy, on-road and off-road vehicles. To investigate the effect of the static characteristics of the suspension system, a simulation study was performed in this work. Recent suspension trends have focused on improving innovations in vehicle ride quality and handling.
This Paper is about optimizing the wishbone suspension system on a vehicle, by changing the angle and position of shock absorber, spring index and different types of springs for optimize the geometrical structure. Suspension system 3D models were generated using Catia V5 modelling software and simulation was performed using ANSYS and evaluated for Cast Iron and Aluminium combine together increases tensile strength.
