A Review Paper on Stability of Slope under Dynamic Loading
Author Name : D. S. Rathod, Dr. A. I. Dhatrak, S. W. Thakare, Dr. S. P. Tatewar
ABSTRACT
Reinforced slopes are a form of mechanically stabilized earth that incorporates planar reinforcing elements for the construction of sloped structures with inclinations less than 700. Soil reinforcement concepts and technologies originated in prehistoric times. However, modern techniques for mechanically stabilizing soil were introduced in the 1960s. Different type of method is used to stabilize the slope. Seismic response of model slopes with and without reinforcement is discussed in this review paper using shaking table tests under different loading conduction.
