A Study of benefit under Employee State Insurance Corporation

ABSTRACT This study analyses secondary data gathered from the Employee State Insurance Corporation India's website, the Employee State Insurance Act 1948, and the Employee State Insurance Corporation Annual Report 2021- 2022. The focus is on examining trends and changes in the number of insured persons, beneficiaries, ESI dispensaries, and doctors from 2018 to 2022. The findings show that the total number of insured persons experienced a gradual decline over the five-year period. However, the number of beneficiaries exhibited minor fluctuations with no clear overall pattern. The research also identifies potential factors influencing these trends, including changes in the labour market, economic conditions, and employment patterns
