ABSTRACT Acute coronary syndrome known as myocardial infarction is defined as a pathological event that results in myocardial ischemia along with a notable degree of cardiac insult and injury. When cardiac troponin levels rise or fall and are accompanied by characteristic symptoms, suggestive ECG abnormalities, imaging evidence of a new loss of viable myocardium or new regional wall motion abnormality. Restoring perfusion as quickly as possible is the goal of early rehabilitation for acute myocardial infarction in order to salvage as much of the compromised myocardium as possible. This can be achieved by mechanical or medical methods, like coronary artery bypass graft surgery or percutaneous coronary intervention. Reduction of morbidity and prevention of complications are the goals of medical treatment for myocardial infarction. The emergency department's primary goals are Pharmacotherapy includes pain management, oxygenation optimization, cardiac workload reduction, and or quick intravenous thrombolysis and or referral for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).There is a strong association between the expected and observed mortality rates for three key risk factors like hypertension, diabetes, and smoking according to a recent ecological analysis on major CVD risk factors and mortality.
