A Study of Impact of Automation on Employment in Manufacturing Sector

ABSTRACT Automation has become more common in production in recent years, with machines and software replacing workers in many sectors. In manufacturing, production, IT/BPO etc. This has raised concerns about the impact of automation on business, and some experts estimate that millions of jobs in the manufacturing industry could be lost as a result. This study examines the impact of automation on production. Using data from the WEF economics future of jobs this study tracks what was the job conditions and what will be the conditions of jobs in next 5 years and identifies the jobs most likely to work. This study for explore how the integration of automation technologies affects business operations and sector wise job opportunities. By an extensive literature review and analysis, this study investigates the impact of automation on employment and survey show the job created and destroyed by automation. The study analyzed data from various manufacturing sectors and different industries and collected from various sites. It identified where automation contributes to job losses and job creation
