A Study of Regional Imbalance in Maharashtra with Special Reference to Labour Force.

ABSTRACT This research is discussed the regional imbalance in various sector of Maharashtra state. The research is based on 6 administrative division of Maharashtra state. This research has discussed the definition of regional imbalance. It studies the workers including farmers & land labours and their employment. The main objective of this research is to find out the workers participation and how it become a regionally imbalanced. This research is based on the secondary data available in Directorate of Economics and Statistics. The data used for this study is divided in two main parts one is main workers and second is marginal workers both working categories have same variables which are farmers, Land labours, manufacturing, services & home industry and other works. This quantity data has been calculated using various tools, graphs on excel. This study calculates the regional disparities among working and non-working population of the Maharashtra
