A Study on Effectiveness of Employee Motivation at Travancore Cochin Chemicals Ltd. Eranakulam

ABSTRACT

Human resource management is concerned with the personnel policies, management practices, and systems that influence the work force. In broader terms, all decision that affect the workforce of the organization concern the human resource management functions. It has a whole lot to do with this focus regardless of the size of the business or the product or services you are trying to sell. It is involved in managing the human resource with a focus on expanding customer base that gives profits to the company. In the organizational setting the word, “Motivation” is used to describe the drive that implies an individual to work. A person who is truly driven is one who desires to work. Both employees and employers are interested in understanding motivation if employees know what strength and what weakness their motivations. They can often perform more effectively to find more satisfaction in their jobs. Employers are curious to learn what inspires their employees so that they can encourage them to work harder. The efficiency of a person depends on do the two factors, firstly the level of the ability to do certain work, secondly the willingness to do the work.
