A Study on Employee Motivation with Regards to Fringe Benefits of Tata Motors
Author Name : Rahul Sahu, Dr. Anita Choudhary
ABSTRACT
This research study aims to investigate the impact of fringe benefits on employee motivation within the context of Tata Motors. Employee motivation plays a crucial role in enhancing productivity and overall organizational performance. Fringe benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, flexible working hours, and employee discounts, have been recognized as essential components of employee compensation packages. This research project will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, to gather data from employees of Tata Motors. The quantitative survey will assess employees' perceptions of the importance and effectiveness of fringe benefits in motivating them. Additionally, the qualitative interviews will provide deeper insights into the employees' experiences, attitudes, and expectations regarding fringe benefits. The findings from this study will contribute to the existing literature on employee motivation, particularly in the context of fringe benefits. The research will provide Tata Motors with valuable insights into the efficacy of their current fringe benefit offerings and identify potential areas for improvement. Furthermore, the study will enable Tata Motors to align its employee motivation strategies with the evolving needs and expectations of its workforce. The implications of this research extend beyond the specific case of Tata Motors, as the findings can be used to inform human resource practices in other organizations within the automotive industry or across different sectors. By understanding the impact of fringe benefits on employee motivation, organizations can design more effective compensation packages that enhance employee engagement, job satisfaction, and overall organizational performance.
