A Study on Employee Understanding of HR Practices In Bow and Baan Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Chennai.

ABSTRACT HR practices are crucial for organizational development and employee satisfaction, shaping the workplace atmosphere. This atmosphere is influenced by factors like member characteristics, communication, support, rewards, conflict resolution, and decision-making participation. Human resource management (HRM) significantly impacts a firm's success or failure, encompassing professional practices and organizational activities. A study conducted at Bow and Baan Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai revealed differences in employees' understanding of HR practices across demographics and organizational variables. Using convenience sampling, primary data was collected via questionnaires distributed through Google Forms, supplemented by secondary data from websites, journals, and research papers. Analysis involved percentage analysis, chi-square tests, and correlation analysis in SPSS.
