ABSTRACT

Introduction: Cancer is a worldwide problem. There is an increasing incidence of cancer both in developed and developing countries, as is one such disease which has both public fear and concern. Cancer in all forms is causing about 12% of death throughout the world. The magnitude of the problem of cancer in India, can be succinctly, described as one of explosive dimensions. In the last two decades alone, the number of cancer patients in country has tripled. Thus India has maximum number of cancer patients among all developing countries. One in every 14 Indians is at risk of developing cancer; more than 15 million people suffer from cancer at any point of time in India. According to national cancer institute in India the incidence of fatigue is 96%, alopecia 65%, nausea 63% and 60% are suffering from vomiting
