A Study to Assess the Factors Influencing Successful Collaboration between Nurses, Children and Relative Sat SMVMC & H, Puducherry

ABSTRACT
The aim of the Study is to Assess the factors influencing successful collaboration between nurses, children and relatives at SMVMCH, Puducherry. A quantitative research approach was adopted for this present study. A descriptive research design was adopted for this study. The study sample comprises of 10 staff nurses, 10 children and 10 relatives at Sri ManakulaVinayagar Medical College and Hospital. A convenient sampling technique was adopted for this present study. The findings reveal that out of 10 staff nurses with 10% had low level collaboration, 90% had high level collaboration. Out of 10 children with 30% had low level collaboration, 70% had high level collaboration. Out of 10 relatives 20% had low level collaboration, 80% had high level collaboration. This study implies that the factors influencing successful collaboration between nurses, children and relatives.
