ABSTRACT : One type of cancer that starts as a proliferation of cells in the breast tissue is called breast cancer. Following skin cancer, breast cancer is the second most frequent type of cancer in women. One of the most common cancers among women worldwide is breast cancer. It affects a lot of women and is a major global health concern. Uncontrollably growing breast cells can result in breast cancer. Breast cancer comes in many forms. The kind depends on which breast cells become cancerous. According to the data released by the WHO’s cancer agency, International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) shows that 26.6% of women in India are diagnosed with breast cancer. Therefore, in order to improve treatment outcomes and increase survival rates, early detection of breast cancer is essential. Among women worldwide, breast cancer is one of the leading causes of mortality. Enhancing the diagnosis and raising the patient survival rate from 30% to 50% depends on early identification and accurate diagnosis of breast cancer. Therefore, in order to enable patients to take the appropriate action, it is imperative to identify and classify breast cancer in its early stages. However, when it comes to identifying breast cancer, mammography scans offer relatively low sensitivity and efficiency. Furthermore, when it comes to predicting breast cancer, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has a higher sensitivity than mammography.
