ABSTRACT Artificial intelligence (AI) is a stream of science that allows machines to work efficiently, can analyze complex data.[1]AI is a potentially useful tool in healthcare. AIfocuses in producing intelligent modelling, which helps in imaging knowledge, solving problems and decision making.[2]The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Is rapidly transforming various industries, and the pharmaceutical industry is no more exception.[3] The role of AI in healthcare services and research is increasing at a tremendousrate. This review illustrates on challenges of AI in healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. The article describes the application of AI in healthcare such as disease diagnosis, digitaltherapy, personalized treatment, drug discovery, anticipation of epidemics and pandemics. The use of AI technologies allows pharmacists to make accurate and evidence based clinical decisions. The comprehensive search was conducted over database such as PubMed, science direct, and google scholar using specific keywords and phrases such as ‘Artificial Intelligence’, ‘Pharmaceutical research’, ‘disease diagnosis’, ‘clinical trials’, ‘drug discovery’ etc. [1]The review emphasizes on crucial role of advancing AI technologies in promoting rapid and costeffective healthcare and pharmaceutical research. The main benefit of AI in pharmacy is improved accuracy and patient care. [4] Overall, this review will provide an insight into future of the pharmacy industry, and transformative potential of AI in this field.
