Air Quality Prediction Using Machine Learning

ABSTRACT
Airpollution is the world’s largest environmental health threat. Air pollution refers torelease of pollutants into the air that causes millions ofdeaths worldwide every year. Its major constituents arePM2.5, PM10 and harmful greenhouse gases and othereffluents from vehicles and factories affecting not onlyhumans but other living organisms also. The effectivesolution for this issue is to implement machine learning. Algorithms to predict AQI (Air quality index). Theprime objective behind this project to predict AQIbased Concentration of PM2.5. Here datasets whichgoing to be used in project are combined and largelyclean Version of the historical daily ambient air qualitydata which is released by ministry of environment andForests and Central pollution control board of India inorder to bring accuracy in prediction and to justifyWhetherquality ofairissuitableornot.Thisprediction will be brought about with the help of someSupervisedmachinelearningalgorithmstogivingbetter accuracy in prediction of AQI. Machine learningModel exploited in this study will be constructed on asoftware program under python script. [1]
