An Advanced Multimodal Approach towards Deep-Fake Detection using Deep Learning

ABSTRACT The line between reality and fabrication is blurred by AI deepfakes. Fake multimedia has become a resent problem in the few years, moreover after the advent Deepfakes. Deepfakes are fake realistic-looking media that is generated by using deep-learning algorithms which are in progressively used for fake multimedia generation. These medias are manipulated using advanced deep learning techniques such as autoencoders (AE) or generative adversarial networks (GAN). Deepfake algorithms can create fake multimedia that humans cannot distinguish or recognize to be authentic or fake. Today boundary between real and fake media has become very thin. With this technology, creating realistic manipulated media assets may be very easy, provided one can access large amounts of data.
