An Analysis on Sector-wise Performance of Haryana Agriculture

ABSTRACT

Haryana has been remaining predominated agrarian economy. To enhance inclusive growth in Haryana economy agriculture is consider that it occupies a significant place.  After green revolution in India, Haryana has made strong path of agriculture development in terms of better performance in agriculture output and its export as compare too many other states. This study focused to analysis the sector wise performance of agriculture in Haryana. It found that crops and livestock sub sector has been continuous accounted share more in overall agriculture that is highest as other sub sectors. The major component among all sub- sectors as contributor is crops and livestock sub-sector which has highest share in agriculture sector. However, all sub-sector found statistical significant and have positively impact on agriculture sector at 0.01% level of significance.
