An Analytical study of trade war between selected local FMCG brands with popular brands in Malegaon (Nasik)

ABSTRACT Malegaon is main hub for cloth weaving; it has estimated 3 lakh power looms producing 10 million meter cloth every dayi. Mollywood film industry has been made local version of many classic Hollywood and Bollywood characters and got big response from audience due to quintessential dialogue, looks, circumstances and food, like Malegaon ke sholay, superman of Malegaon, imitation of Mr Bean by Malegaon ka chintu put this region on national televisionii. Present era of Globalisation opens an impetus opportunity to capture the small change in any aspect of business environment. Market leading brands of FMCG are not able to cover small segments in a particular country.
