As the complexity of distribution networks has increased, the automation of substations has become essential for utility companies. To improve power quality, it is important to understand the types of constraints that may occur, as well as any deficiencies in the protection, monitoring, and control of the power system. This calls for a monitoring system capable of automatically detecting, monitoring, and classifying existing constraints on electrical lines. The objective of this project is to acquire remote electrical parameters, such as voltage and current, and send these real-time values over the network to the power station using an Arduino processor. A buzzer will be activated whenever the electrical parameters exceed predefined thresholds. Additionally, this system will automatically update the real-time electrical parameters in the Thingspeak app cloud via a Wi-Fi module.
