An Empirical Study on Investor Perception towards Various Investment Avenues with Reference to Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

ABSTRACT

The perception of investors regarding various investment opportunities are explored in this research. An asset or object purchased with the intent of generating income or appreciation is referred to as an investment. An asset's value appreciates with time, which is referred to as appreciation.Investing is the process of allocating resources, usually money, in the hopes of making a profit or producing an income. You can invest in ventures, such as utilising money to establish a business, or assets, such as buying real estate with the intention of reselling it at a greater price later.In general, the investment process begins with a clear knowledge of the investment goals, followed by the formulation of an investment policy. This will be determined by the investor's perspective. However, investor perceptions vary depending on a variety of criteria such as age, gender, occupation, education, and income levels.The current study looks into people's perception and attitudes regarding various investment avenueswith reference to Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
