Analysis of Developed Spectral Libraries for the Maize Crop
Author Name : Shyama Mohan, Sowmya.Puram, Giridhar M.V.S.S.
ABSTRACT
The combination of spectral reflectance with remote sensing opens up new possibilities for crop identification and agricultural production evaluation. In this new era of remote sensing advancement, more chances will be presented in agriculture, crop insurance, and the economy sector. The primary goal of this work was to gather and determine the spectral signature of the maize crop. A spectroradiometer was used to acquire spectral data of maize in various environments. Unique spectral signatures were obtained and analyzed based on the reflectance data collected from the sensor equipment. It is determined that spectral data are credible, as are image and spectral curve characteristics. It has a lot of potential in hyperspectral remote sensing technology research for agricultural development and remote monitoring of agricultural resources.
