Analysis of Mismatch in Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Modules using Matlab-Simulink
Author Name : Subinoy Roy, Arpan Goroda , Monalisa Dash
ABSTRACT Mismatch losses in photovoltaic (PV) modules are a serious problem, which occurs when interconnected solar cells in the module have different properties or experience different conditions from one another. In such cases, the output of the entire module under worst case conditions is determined by the solar cell with the lowest output. It is very difficult to study mismatch effect in modules by experimental means, rather, a simulated study is more favorable. Common simulation tools such as PSpice, PVsyst are useful, however, are expensive and require higher node operations
