Assessment of knowledge regarding Emergency Severity Index triage among staff nurses

ABSTRACT
The present study aims to assess knowledge regarding emergency severity index triage among nursing staff in selected hospital Chalakudy. The objectives of the study were to assess the knowledge regarding ESI triage among staff nurses and to compare the knowledge among the staff nurses. Research approach of the study was quantitative approach. The research design selected for the study was descriptive. The sample size comprised 50 staff nurses. Non probability purposive sampling technique was used for the present study. The knowledge about ESI triage was assessed using the structured knowledge questionnaire .
