Awareness and Use of Digital Resources among Scheduled Caste Students: A Case Study of SC Students in Udham Singh Nagar District of Uttaralkhand

ABSTRACT

The advances in digital technology have restructured the traditional systems of teaching learning to online collaborative and cooperative system of learning. The importance of e-resources in higher education is increasing day after day. But due to the impact of various socio economic factors and level of digital literacy, there exist wide inequality in the use of digital resources among various categories of students. The present paper analyses the awareness and use of digital resources among students of Tharu Community in, Khatima in Udham Singh Nagar District of Uttarakhand State. The study reveals that the usage of e-resources among students in the study area is very low especially for educational purpose.
