Awareness of Corporate Social Responsibility Mandate among 50 employees from the IT companies of Vadodara Gujarat

ABSTRACT

Corporate Social Responsibility is a bridge to join the corporate and the community. This discussion has today lead to what is called Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). It is evident from our analysis that India has indeed come a long way in transforming from voluntary CSR to mandate CSR.

The interest of CSR has grown rapidly in the recent years and people are starting to demand that companies take their social responsibility. In the same time companies have started to understand that they can use CSR as a strategy in order to gain benefits out of it.

This dissertation mainly focuses on the awareness about CSR mandate among the employees, how company understands the term CSR mandate and implement it and what kind of challenges they face while implementing CSR projects.
