ABSTRACT
Basalt fiber may be a high performance non-metallic fiber made up of basalt rock melted at heat. Basalt fiber reinforcement concrete offers more Characteristics like light weight, good fire resistance and strength. In future it's very beneficial for housing industry. Civil applications of basalt fiber are residential houses, industrial, highway and bridges etc. In this study trial test for concrete with basalt fiber and without basalt fiber are conducted to point out the difference in compressive strength and flexural strength by using cubes.
Keywords: Basalt Fiber, Compressive strength, Basalt Fibre Reinforced Concrete, Non Metallic, Flexural strength, Tensile strength, Ceramic fibre, Stiffness.
