ABSTRACT
Biosafety Cabinets/dispensers, also called 'Chemo Hoods,' are designed to safely handle cytotoxic agents and other hazardous drugs. It is ventilated enclosure offering Protection to the nursesduringchemotherapy preparation.Biosafety cabinet nurses the three States of Protection, which include Personal Protection from harmful agents within the cabinet, Product Protection to avoid contamination of the medicines, and Environmental Protection from contaminants within the cabinet.
