Bond Graph Simulation and Modeling in Mechatronic Systems

Author Name : Dr. Khoob Singh

ABSTRACT

The creation of a computer model is one of the most important and difficult tasks in the design and analysis of a mechatronics system. This essay examines the underlying philosophy, the methodology, and the progression from abstract concepts to actualized practise. It examines the theory and method for automating the creation of differential equations as well as how to automate the derivation of transfer functions using a multi-ienergetic approach that permits the modeling of transdisciplinary models. The strategy is covered for both linear and nonlinear systems. When a computer model is created that combines many energy domains, such as electromechanical, electrohydraulic, thermo-fluid, and electronic control systems, it takes on new dimensions. Such applications are typical of mechatronics. This essay investigates the. This study investigates the bond graph technique as a modelling tool to produce non-linear or state space models using software tools. To automatically create computer models and combine them with MATLAB-SIMULINK as simulation tools, CAMP-G (Computer Aided Modeling Program with Graphical Input) was created. In order to pinpoint the areas in which the bond graph modelling technique can assist engineers when building mechatronics systems from the ground up, several facets of mechatronics system design have been examined. Regarding this
