Calibration and testing of instrumentation systems, calibration types and procedures an over view

ABSTRACT Every instrumentation system used for several applications in both industry or laboratory needs calibration with standard values. Unless there is no proper calibration of the system leads to produce more errors. This consequently impacts the performance of the entire instrumentation system, there by causes the productivity of the process industry. Hence, in this paper explains various difficulties in handling the instrumentation system and of pressure measurement and its calibration. However, it was clearly demonstrated about the procedures of pressure measurement by means of standard procedures, there are some difficulties existing in the same. Pressure measurement plays major role in process industries. Hence calibration of pressure is an important aspect in all most all process industries.
