ABSTRACT

Hypothyroidism has become a global concern and women are affected more as compared to men. On day to day basis every alternate case what we see in our opd’s is a case of Hypothyroidism.  Recent studies have shown one in eight women are developing Hypothyroidism.Higher prevalence in women (6 to 10%) than in men(2% to4 %.)Studies are not clear enough to say why thyroid disorders are more in women than men, well it can be linked to autoimmune conditions, lifestyle, stress levels ( more of multitasking kind), strong history of thyroid problems in the Family. In this case study Efficacy of Homoeopathic Medicines in Treating a Case of Hypothyroidism and Colloid goiter are explained.
