ABSTRACT
As a developing world, employment opportunities in the country's major cities are greater than in rural cities. For socio-economic reasons, there is a higher migration rate to big cities. Smart cities incorporate both technology and creativity, not only helping to change the environment, but also making citizens' daily lives simpler. An important feature of a smart city is cashless payments. Efforts to develop a viable cashless system are being made by organizations across the spectrum. Cashless transactions make travel and payment systems simpler on a regular basis, thereby reducing time and saving resources. Citizens can pay for their journey with just a tap, with POS deployed in locations such as train stations and bus stands.Cashless transactions also assist the economy. A study conducted by Visa in 100 cities in 2017 found that net benefits and digital transaction revenues contribute an estimated 3 percent to the individual GDP of the region. Here we are going to build a cashless transaction prototype model using BCT functionality using the Java programming language. The project will run as a local host, and WLAN will be used to connect between the site and Android.
