Cassia Tora Linn: A Review of its Medicinal Properties and Uses

ABSTRACT Background: Cassia Tora Linn is a plant species used in traditional medicine for various purposes. Method: A comprehensive review of existing literature on Cassia Tora Linn's medicinal properties and uses. Results: The plant's phytochemicals exhibit anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, antidiabetic, hepatoprotective, nephroprotective, and anticancer activities. Traditional uses include treating digestive issues, skin problems, infections, inflammation, diabetes, and cancer. Conclusions: Cassia Tora Linn shows promise as a therapeutic agent, but further research is needed to fully understand its efficacy and safety. This review highlights the plant's potential and provides a foundation for future studies
