Challenges of Women Entrepreneurs In India

ABSTRACT

The present paper examines the different challenges and problems faced by Indian women entrepreneurs in starting up new business ventures, innovation activities because of various factors like  personal, social, financial , educational, competitive, government role, male domination, lack of technology, awareness  and other factors which serves as obstacles in the development of women entrepreneurship in the country and why our country still lag behind in terms of women entrepreneurship when compared globally. The paper also highlights the ways and means through which these challenges and problems can be resolved with the efforts of various schemes by government and other parties related to women entrepreneurship.
