Comparative Study of Phytochemical Constituents of Curry Leaves from Different Regions of Punjab

ABSTRACT
Curry Leaf occupies a huge space in traditional Ayurveda medicine. The plant is well known for its antibacterial, antifungal, and antiprotozoal, especially in leaf, stem, bark, and oil. The whole plant is used for tonic and stomachic properties.The aim of the present study is screening of phytochemical constituents of curry leaves from different regions.Phytochemical screening of the extract reveals the presence offlavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, terpenoids etc.
