Consumer Buying Behaviour towards Online Shopping With Reference To Bengaluru City

ABSTRACT
Internet is changing the way of consumers buying behavior towards online shopping. Consumer Buying Behavior refers to the buying activities of the ultimate consumer. Consumers shop online for various reasons like availability of varieties of products, to save time, home delivery facility, no opening & closing time, not to rush from work place to shop, major brands are available which makes easier to buy quality products enabling to choose from variety of online stores etc., and the only dislike is inability to touch and feel on the product. The conveniences in the online shopping provide an emerging trend among consumers towards online shopping. The actions taken by consumers before buying a product through online are consulting search engines, engaging with social media posts, website usability, special offers or discount coupons and customer reviews. This paper aims to explain from various determining factors consumer reviews or the different offers/discount coupons which are most affecting the consumers’ buying behavior towards online shopping in Bengaluru city, it is analysed and proved through proper statistical tool. People in Bengaluru are migrated from other parts of the country for working in IT/BT firms their working hours are different and they have sufficient knowledge to handle online platforms. So online shopping becomes easier for such people to avoid visiting shops in busy schedule. Thus the researcher selected Bengaluru as study area for this research paper.
