Container – First Strategy Fully Adopted
Author Name : Rewant Pandey
ABSTRACT
According to their scalability, portability, and flexibility deployment, container are evolved over the greatest interesting lightweight virtualisation technology for delivering cloud services, notably in the context of micro-services, smart cars, the Internet of Things, and fog/edge computing. Because of its different structure of the workloads and clouds resources, the scheduler's component plays an essential and crucial role in clouds containers services by maximizing performance and lowering costs. There isn't a thorough review that covers containers scheduler approaches, despite the enormous use of container in cloud computing. In this current survey, we explore the landscape of cutting-edge container scheduling methods with the intention of igniting more investigation in this vibrant field of study. The study is designed to categorize scheduler methods onto 4 groups depending on the kind of optimization methodology used to create the schedule, including mathematics modelling, heuristics, meta-heuristics, and machine learning. Then, depending on performance data, we examine and identify important advantages, disadvantages, as well as major difficulties of the current strategies for every category of scheduling algorithms. To fully exploit the promise of the emerging container technology, this study concludes by highlighting promising areas for further research.
