ABSTRACT
Text and Speech are remarkable intermediates for communication between human beings. Visually impaired people can speak, but they cannot communicate through text. Vision impairment can be different types, such as partial, mild, moderate, and severe. This paper creates an intermediate between vision people and blind people. The Tamil braille is designed to facilitate Tamil - speaking visually impaired people's interaction with computers. This paper proposes a transfer learning method for converting Tamil braille images into text. The braille images are trained using the vgg16 network, identified, and classified with an accuracy of 95.65%.
