Cost Effective Smart Electronic Door Lock System through Face Recognition

ABSTRACT

Face recognition system is broadly used for human recognition due to its ability to measure and subsequently detects human identification especially for security purposes. Our proposed system presents the development of unique face recognized door lock security system. The development is implemented by interfacing ESP32 Cam module with Arduino Uno and Ultrasonic Sensor (HC-SR04). TTL serial communication is used to interface between ESP32 cam module with Ultrasonic sensor and Digital Pass code Device. The Digital Pass code device is implemented by Arduino Uno, BJT, Resistor, Diode, Relay and LCD. The developed system shows that the auto-switching mode transmission is possible only by the user if he is present in front of camera. With the image of preloaded user data is not sufficient to unlock electronics door lock device. It was also found that GUI can successfully switch on and off the magnetic lock when an authorized image from GUI database is identified only pass code is applied correctly.
