ABSTRACT India has one of the world’s fastest growing economy. In India after Demonetization, with the digital economy entrance has expanded exponentially, as per measurable information web uses has expanded around 500 million clients in India and is relied upon to stretch around 800 million by the end of the year 2021.There has been huge ascent of web based business in India, as India's web economy is approximately 125 billion dollar in 2019-20.It is critical to have government mediation and tremendous venture inflow in type of foreign direct investment in substantial economy like India to balance out and increment the development of ecommerce industry in the economy The most important advantages of E-commerce in India is its potential to help developing rural areas to leap-frog into the knowledge paradigm. E-commerce is a fantastic medium for not only developing infrastructure but also rising employment rates in India, which has a positive effect on economy’s overall economic and social development.
